Varanasi: a thousands years old city facing the Ganga, a holy river for Hinduism.
A pilgrimage destination to purify themselves from sins bathing into the most dirty and polluted river ever seen during years of traveling. A colourful crowd inhabit the ghats with offers and ritual baths, but not only: people wash their clothes, dishes, shit and piss, all in a few metres!
This city reflects the hundred of contradictions of India, between modernity and old traditions.
