Rocky Mountains, Johnson Lake "The Caribbean of the North" - Johnson Lake is known as one of the clearest and most beautiful lakes in the Province. Water to the lake is supplied by the surrounding underground springs and winter snow pack. Due to the limestone in the area, the lake attains the colour of the Caribbean Ocean.
